Oafer AI · your AI study companion

You've got a test Friday, homework in four classes, and practice at five.

Tell Oafer what's going on — assignments, test dates, what you missed in class, when you're busy. It builds the study plan, catches you up on what you didn't understand, and tells you when it's time to work.

Oafer AI's Atlas in dark mode: a student's subjects as labelled constellations — Biology, US History, Spanish, Chemistry, Physics — over a dark sea, with the ship's lantern beam picking out Biology
Real app, no mockups. Captured from the current build.

You already know the feeling.

  1. Test Friday. You haven't started.
  2. You zoned out during the chain rule and never caught back up.
  3. Three assignments due, and you're not sure which one matters most.
  4. Practice till 6, dinner, then it's 9pm and you're staring at your laptop.
  5. Your notes are in one app, your assignments in another, your calendar in a third.
  6. So you do the thing everyone does: panic-study the night before and hope.

It's not that you're lazy. Nobody ever gave you a system.

The shift

Now imagine telling one thing everything.

Oafer
  • “I have a chem test Thursday on chapters 4–7.”
  • “I missed the lesson on the chain rule.”
  • “I've got practice Tuesday and Thursday till 6.”
  • study guide.pdf
Tell Oafer what's going on…

Then it plans it.

  • Sessions scheduled around the practice you told it about.
  • The chain rule explained until you actually get it.
  • Questions pulled from your own study guide.
  • A reminder at the right time, so you don't have to remember to remember.

No planning on your end. No five different apps. Just the next thing to do.

What tonight looks like

Three things it does while you're doing something else.

It knows what's actually on the test

Drop in your study guide, review packet, or whole textbook. Oafer reads it and builds practice from YOUR material — not generic questions off the internet.

A practice quiz Oafer built from a student’s own calculus textbook: a question they got wrong, the worked reason why, and the chapter it came from

It plans around what you tell it

Practice, work, family, the fact that you're wrecked on Wednesdays. Tell it what your week looks like and when the test is, and it sets study reminders before the test that fit around the rest.

Oafer’s calendar: the month, with the student’s reminders and notes marked on the days ahead

It shows up so you don't have to remember

The reminder comes when it's time and says what it's for. You just open Oafer and pick it up.

Notes

Notes from your own material, then the page is yours.

Ask for notes on what you just worked through, or on the review packet you uploaded. You get them written from your material, with the parts it took from your book marked.

Then it's a real page you can write in. Anything you add is tinted as you write it, so you can see at a glance which part of the page is yours.

Oafer keeps reading while you write. Get something wrong, or skip the step you always skip, and it says so, next to the line it means. It speaks up when it matters — a mistake, a question, a gap — and stays out of your way when it doesn't.

When you're done, one tap turns the page into a quiz, a test, or flashcards — on what it covers, or on what it's still missing. Or save the whole thing as a PDF.

A page of a student's calculus notes. Two phrases they wrote themselves are tinted, and in the margin beside one of them Oafer has written: this is the rule your quiz history says you drop.

And it actually teaches you

It won't just hand you answers.

Missed something in class? Say so. Oafer walks you through it until it clicks — asking you questions instead of dumping a paragraph you'll forget by Friday. It remembers what you struggled with last week and comes back to it.

Every quiz, flashcard set, and set of notes it makes stays in your library. It's built so you can't use it to skip the work — because the point is walking into the test knowing you'll be fine.

For parents

If you're a parent paying for tutoring

Private tutoring runs $50–100 an hour. Two subjects, twice a week, and you're at several hundred dollars a month — for help that ends when the session ends.

Oafer is there every night. It knows what's on the test, what your student keeps getting wrong, and when they're supposed to be studying. It's designed so it can't be used to do their homework for them.

Nathan, Oafer’s founder

Trust

Built by a student who needed this.

I'm Nathan, a high school senior. I built Oafer because I watched people around me — including me — drown in assignments while using AI in a way that got the homework done and taught us nothing.

Developed with guidance from a Northeastern University professor.

Questions

The five people always ask.

What does it cost?

Free to start, with limits. Paid plans are coming soon.

What do I actually give it?

Whatever you've got. A study guide, a review packet, a photo of the board, a 900-page textbook, or just “I have a bio test Friday on cells.”

Can I use it to do my homework for me?

No, on purpose. It teaches you to get there yourself — which is also why teachers are okay recommending it.

Is my stuff private?

Yes. Your uploads, chats, and materials are yours. We don't sell or share your data. You need to be 13+ to use Oafer.

Do I have to download anything?

No. It runs in your browser — laptop, Chromebook, phone.

Your test is still coming. Might as well have a plan.
